What is Afrobot?
Afrobot is a large-scale public festival culminating in an electrifying day of robotics competitions, hands-on educational workshops, inspiring tech showcases, and vibrant community engagement. Afrobot 2025 will be hosted in the heart of Algiers at Maqam Echahid on July 5th, 2025, the festival is designed to be an unforgettable experience for participants and spectators alike, and a welcoming beacon for future international guests and collaborators.
At its core, Afrobot 2025 features four thrilling headline robotics competitions:

Our Story & Structure
Afrobot is a testament to the power of youth initiative. It is spearheaded by a dedicated and passionate community of young robotics enthusiasts hailing from various backgrounds and regions across Algeria. This national movement finds its operational and administrative anchor at Youth House Abderrahman Laala, Algiers, which serves as the central incubator, facilitator, empowering these young innovators to bring their vision to life – a vision that inherently includes connecting with their peers across the continent.
The festival is proud to operate under the esteemed Patronage and Administrative support of the Wilaya of Algiers, whose support and guidance are invaluable in staging this national-level event with international aspirations in the capital, championing the cause of youth development and technological advancement.
